Linkspam: October 25th, 2017

Every Friday, we will share links to news, blogs, and anything else we find interesting.  We can’t catch everything, so you are invited to self-promote in the comments!

Asexual Awareness Week is this week!  Because of the large volume of links, we’re posting more than one linkspam.

Ace Blogging

Morgan York of Queership posted an article about Writing Demisexual Characters.

Twin Cities Geek listed 21 books with ace and aro characters.

Ace Community Activity

Michael Paramo, founder of The Asexual journal, was interviewed.

The Asexual Community Census released findings from 2015.

News & Outreach

TeenVogue ran an article about one person’s discovery and experience of their asexuality.

BBC Magazine ran an article about feeling isolated as an asexual.

Models of Pride Conference is a conference this upcoming weekend that is asexual inclusive.

Catapult ran a column about learning to love your asexuality.

Yay for all the links! So much good stuff this week.

“Models of Pride Conference is a highly recommend conference…” I’m assuming you mean recommended, but… Highly recommended by who? I’m a little confused by the description there. It looks to be this upcoming weekend and it’s in Southern California and that’s great that it’s ace inclusive.

…presumably recommended by whoever dropped it in the linkspam. This is what I get for posting without checking over the linkspam text, sorry about that.
