About queenieofaces

QueenieOfAces is a graduate student in the U.S. studying Japanese religion. She is a queer asexual. She also blogs over at Concept Awesome and runs Resources for Ace Survivors. 1. Siggy says:

The asexual characters list contains a mention of a trope titled, “No desire means I have free time”. Hmm…

    • Sara K. says:

I don’t think it’s a common trope common in ace fiction which is (at least partially) directed at ace readers. I mean, once in a while an ace character *might* make a comment that they have more free time because they aren’t bothering with sex, but it would be a very brief thing, and I can’t think of any examples off hand.
