Every Friday, we will share links to news, blogs, and anything else we find interesting.  We can’t catch everything, so you are invited to self-promote in the comments!

As has been discussed on this blog, asexual organization MAAPLE briefly listed LGBT* in UKIP as a supporting organization, drawing criticism because of the xenophobic nature of the UK Independent Party.  Sennkestra also offered advice to MAAPLE.  Then MAAPLE released a statement and Pink News ran an article on the debacle.

Everyday Feminism ran an article about asexual erasure and mental health.

Emily Griggs, author of webcomic Heartless, was interviewed by Daily Xtra and also by Asexual Artists.

Sara wrote about the difficulty in identifying as both an aro ace and a lesbian.

Demisexual and Proud wrote up a model of sexuality and relationships that categorizes them by dimensions.

Ozymandias wrote about labels being used to signal something about yourself, not as an identity.

A comic anthology is looking for ace, aro spectrum, and agender submissions.

About queenieofaces

QueenieOfAces is a graduate student in the U.S. studying Japanese religion. She is a queer asexual. She also blogs over at Concept Awesome and runs Resources for Ace Survivors. She is never quite sure what to write in these introduction things, but this one time she accidentally got a short story on asexuality published in an erotica magazine.
