Every Friday, we will share links to news, blogs, and anything else we find interesting. We can’t catch everything, so you are invited to self-promote in the comments!
Agent Aletha has tentatively moved their Ace Reads library to TagPacker.
Sara continued her series on humanization/dehumanization.

The Asexual Story Project is having its first new stories in a long time.
Laura wrote about having an asexual girlhood.
There was also an episode of the forum radio program about flibanserin this week, which featured multiple ace commentors: http://www.kqed.org/a/forum/R201506121000 (see points after the 30 minute mark for audience comments and questions).
Ohhhhhh boy…..the host of the program knew more than the therapist -___- She didn’t seem to understand what asexual meant, or at least didn’t engage with what it actually means at all despite the fact she seems to have heard of it as a term that’s come about “in the last few years.”
Her one example in response to the question is about a couple who only has sex three times a year and is fine with that except that it seems too little in society’s eyes. But this really…doesn’t….help? Like, “you can have sex infrequently” DOES NOT AT ALL EQUAL “you can live a sexless life.” And while there are aces that have sex, as a response to a question about asexuality that answer doesn’t seem to understand anything. Especially with her starting with saying it’s all very “subjective”. Bleh.
Well. I guess I didn’t expect much different.
Dropping it in next week’s linkspam; thanks!
I’m starting a blog post series on asexuality and Christianity, and still looking for both suggestions for topics and other posts/blogs/articles on this topic.
First post is up: https://demiandproud.wordpress.com/2015/06/15/asexuality-and-christianity-a-prologue/
I’m dropping it in the next linkspam; thanks! Also, I’m sure someone has already given you this link, but: https://theacetheist.wordpress.com/2014/09/12/religion-and-asexuality-overview/
Yes, I’ve been reading his blog with much pleasure. Thanks!
