Every Friday, we will share links to news, blogs, and anything else we find interesting.  We can’t catch everything, so you are invited to self-promote in the comments!

epochryphal wrote about repulsed/conflicted identity, and also about humanization and inclusion.  Sara also continued the conversation about humanizing/dehumanizing rhetoric.

There’s a post about asexual representation by the author of the asexual representation in SFF essay we mentioned last week.

Next Friday there will be a Q&A session with several prominent community members.  We’ll remind you next week, but you can submit questions ahead of time.

aceadmiral wrote about attachment, love, and Star Wars.  captainheartless wrote a follow-up on “heartless” love.

redbeardace ran an Ask an Ace Guy Weekend.  You can read a round-up of all the questions here.

Cinderace wants stories about asexuality, and also wrote about ace representation.

Elizabeth wrote about the lack of nuance in how we talk about abuse.

About queenieofaces

QueenieOfAces is a graduate student in the U.S. studying Japanese religion. She is a queer asexual. She also blogs over at Concept Awesome and runs Resources for Ace Survivors. She is never quite sure what to write in these introduction things, but this one time she accidentally got a short story on asexuality published in an erotica magazine.

  1. The second issue of “Rotten Zucchinis” zine (about violence / abuse in queerplatonic/quirkyplatonic/qp relationships) is available now– I’m chopping up the link so that it doesn’t just bring the whole post here:

Thanks! It just barely missed this linkspam, but it will be there next week.

Shoot, I thought I put that in the linkspam for this week, but apparently I only put it in the Draw for the Deck linkspam. >.> Sorry about that.
