Dear readers, we’ve completed our search for new contributors. Join us in welcoming them. Profiles below.
Elizabeth is an American starving artist creative type who is often mistaken for a lesbian, due to the fact that she is more-or-less engaged to a lady. She is actually panromantic, asexual, and polyamorous. She is formally trained in creative writing with a focus on non-fiction and poetry, and amateurishly designs websites. She has a blog called Prismatic Entanglements, where she mostly writes long-winded personal essays and social criticism. In her spare time, she enjoys coming up with new Pokemon strategies and never going to church.
La Rain is a UK-based intersectional anarchist feminist and co-author and publisher of FUCKED, a zine about being queer and sexually dysfunctional. They also co-facilitate Can’t Fuck/Won’t Fuck workshops about asexuality, sexual dysfunction, and the reproduction of compulsory sexuality within queer and sex-positive feminist communities. When they’re not being confused about sex, La Rain is playing board games, reading sci-fi, drinking milkshakes, or hanging out with Walter and Barry (their cats).
Stephanie Land received a BA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Montana. She raises her two daughters on her own in Missoula, and works as a freelance writer. Her writing has been featured on the YWCA Missoula blog, Literary Mama, Montana Public Radio, Scary Mommy, and regularly on Mamalode.
Tim is an undergraduate studying history and anthropology. He has known about asexuality for about a year, in that time he has tried to find his feet as an asexual activist. He identifies both as asexual and aromantic and hopes to one day establish a queer platonic relationship with a girl. Tim also blogs at acedawg9.
Additionally, we wish a fond farewell to contributors Katie and Jasmine.
