Every Friday, we will share links to news, blogs, and anything else we find interesting.  We can’t catch everything, so you are invited to self-promote in the comments!

Aqua created a forum for people who chose not to have sex for non-religious reasons.

The Ace Theist wrote about defining sexual attraction.

Ace in Translation started a series on being ace across language barriers.

ace-muslim wrote about social anxiety, sex aversion, and asexuality.

The Ace Theist wrote about wordsmithing for nonsexual touch.

ace-muslim wrote about patriarchy and the conflation of non-autonomous sexuality with non-sexuality.

Matthew’s Place is starting an asexuality series, and the first post is up.

About queenieofaces

QueenieOfAces is a graduate student in the U.S. studying Japanese religion. She is a queer asexual. She also blogs over at Concept Awesome and runs Resources for Ace Survivors. She is never quite sure what to write in these introduction things, but this one time she accidentally got a short story on asexuality published in an erotica magazine.

That’s cool that my forum was linked to! However, as a heads up, I’m really having second thoughts about continuing to use ProBoards, because their TOS locks users in. I have plans of setting up a separate blog hosted on WordPress for both static content, and blog posts encouraging discussion, and possibly also create a subreddit instead.

I still have the rights to the content that I made that I first posted on my forum, but ProBoards is also granted a license to all user content, that cannot be revoked. So, in favor of more control in favor of the users, I’d prefer to continue discussions elsewhere.
