A blogging carnival is an event in which various people blog around a single topic. At the end of the carnival, a host blog collects all the links. It’s a way of encouraging people to speak up, and a way to bring attention to blogs that would otherwise go under the radar.
The Asexual Agenda is hosting the Carnival of Aces for August. This month’s theme is age/ageism. For example: What’s it like to be an older ace, or a younger ace? What do you think of the age demographics of our community? What’s it like to have a relationship with an age difference?
When you’ve blogged about the topic, please send your links to email@example.com by the end of August. Your submission must be in some way related to the theme, and related to asexuality, gray/demi, or aromanticism. Your cannot submit something you created before the start of the carnival. If you don’t have your own blog, you can still submit something, and we’ll host it here.
We need volunteers to host future carnivals. If you host a carnival, you get to choose the theme, and you attract attention to your blog. To volunteer, please comment on the Carnival of Aces masterpost (which used to be on Writing from Factor X, but has been moved here), or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The masterpost is also a good place to see the carnival archives, and track the location of the next carnival.
